Data Protection

TC TrustCenter is a service provider conforming with the German Tele medea Act (Teledmediengesetz) and is thus bound to its respective data privacy rules. For services related to certificates the current General Terms and Conditions on Digital Certificates are applicable.

1. TC TrustCenter’s directory of certificates transmits the data stated in the certificate automated to all who call it up. This transmission is carried out to all the countries of the world. Only the information about persons or organisations contained in the certificate as well as status of the certificate will be submitted.
2. TC TrustCenter will only collect, process, and utilize data that is required for the operation of a Certification Authority.
3. TC TrustCenter will only obtain, process and utilise the personal and organisation-related data which is necessary for the issuance of a certificate and the listing in the directory of certificates.
4. TC TrustCenter does not make any commercial use of personal data acquired through the application for certification. Data that has been obtained through TC TrustCenter or an authorized TC TrustCenter Ident Point during the application and identification process will be administered by the processing institution itself. TC TrustCenter does not transmit further data to these institutions.
5. On this website TC TrustCenter uses a statistic program which detects and analyzes visits of this website. TC TrustCenter uses your IP-address to collect data, amongst others about the internet traffic, your browser, and your computer. Furthermore, cookies will be allocated, too. A cookie is a small file which will be stored on your computer as soon as you visit one of our websites. If you visit the website again, the cookie shows that it is a repeat visit. The cookie does not contain personal data. The cookie is not able to identify you on third parties websites. You may configure your browser in a way, that it denies to accept cookies generally or that you will be informed before a cookie will be stored. TC TrustCenter does not use IP-addresses and cookies to identify you personally. TC TrustCenter uses the statistic program to increase the efficiency of this website.
