Based on the Microsoft AutoEnrollment Protocol included within Windows, administrators can use AutoEnrollment for TC Enterprise ID and TC Enterprise ID QuickStart to create and distribute certificates centrally without the need for additional client software. Certificates can be issued to single computers as well as to groups. The software is very easy to use because it simply draws on the existing information in the Active Directory. That means that certificates can be issued to all users with an existing Windows account without additional registration.
The locally installed AutoEnrollment Server uses the SOAP API of the underlying TC Enterprise ID or TC Enterprise ID Quickstart solution.
Seamless integration into your applications
AutoEnrollment for TC Enterprise ID supports all Microsoft applications such as MS Internet Explorer for client authentication, MS Outlook for e-mail encryption and signing, MS Office for document signing and VPN authentication but also many other applications from other software producers such as OpenOffice and Cisco VPN.
