TC OCSP Responder
The TC OCSP Responder is the basis for using the Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) in your public key infrastructure. OCSP enables fast, automatic validation of deployed certificates.
The usual method of validating individual certificates by comparing them to certificate revocation lists (CRLs) is not terribly efficient. Plus, the evolved Public Key infrastructure generally contains relatively extensive CRLs.

The Online Certificate Status Protocol (RFC2560-compliant OCSP) offers you a lean alternative. Regardless of the number of blacklisted certificates, a uniformly small amount of data is transmitted for validation, resulting in super-fast validation processes.
TC OCSP Responder is the optimised software solution for validation of X.509 certificates that lets you utilise OCSP in your public key infrastructure.
