The TC SCM client provides an intuitive user interface, giving administrators an easy way of managing their chip cards.
TC SCM also supports the role-based assignment of privileges supporting the double-checking security principle. Chip cards can be personalised by the holder or an administrator. By using Secure Messaging, TC SCM also opens up the options of post issuance personalisation and key recovery.
Another real benefit of TC SCM is its capacity for integration into existing corporate and meta directories (LDAP), making existing cardholder details directly available and, as a result, consistently avoiding redundant data storage. The data is displayed in its familiar structure and does not require re-entering.
