Every TC Trust SSL certificate includes the registration of your domain and organization to assure web site visitors of your business identity.
When you request a TC Trust SSL certificate, TC TrustCenter will verify the identity of the business entity responsible for the Internet domain name for which the certificate is requested. Before proceeding through the enrolment process, you should know what information you will need to provide in order for our team to complete the verification process.
You must make sure that the following items consistently match in order to have your server certificate order processed:
After completion of the enrolment process, you will receive a confirmation email from TC TrustCenter, which confirms the receipt of your application and specifies the requested registration documents as described below as well:
To verify the given information in the certificate request, we need the following documents:
Acceptable documents for Proof of Organisation include:
- DUNS number (Dun and Bradstreet)
- Articles of Incorporation
- Business License
- Doing Business As (DBA) registration
- Partnership documentation
- Sole Proprietorship documentation
Please send Proof of Organisation and the completed and signed documents to TC Trust Center at +49 (0) 40 80 80 26-126. Make a note on the cover page wich include your domain name and the certificate application number.
If any of the above items do not match or are not submitted, the processing of your certificate request may be delayed.
NOTE: All documents can be submitted in German or English. No additional translations of the documents required.
Once the Proof of Organisation documents and the right to use the domain have been submitted , they will not be required again unless the documents are not older than three years and details did not change (an up-to-date declaration may be asked for).
